Life’s Work: An Interview with Barbra Streisand

Barbra Streisand was a Broadway star at age 20, and by 35 had won two Oscars, six of her 10 Grammys to date, a Tony, and the first of multiple Emmys. A polarizing icon (“I’m opinionated—people either appreciate that or they hate it”), she went on to write, produce, and direct films, sell 71 million albums in the U.S. alone, and support charitable causes such as the Women’s Heart Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
